Fulham DFC Youth / Under 16's

Community Sports Trust

The Under 16's Deaf Fulham FC Squad have been really busy these past
few weeks flying the flag proudly for Fulham FC. On a very cold
Sunday 12 th March, the boys played a friendly match against a PAN
Chelsea Under16's team at the Wandle Leisure Centre in Wandsworth. It
was a great group of matches where Fulham won 2 games to 1. The man of
the match award went to Sam Kemp the Fulham FC Under 16's deaf goalie.
Sam has just returned back to training after breaking his nose and made
some magic saves.

The group also travelled to Northampton on Saturday 25 th March where
they played a friendly against Northampton's Under 16's Deaf Squad, the
group not only had the chance to play a match, they were also given the
royal treatment of a ground tour at Northampton FC Ground and saw
Northampton play Notts County.

The boys will be playing an eight a side match exhibition against
Charlton Athletic Under 16's Deaf Squad at Bishops Park on Saturday 15
th April from 12.30 -1.30pm in support of NADS. This shall be an
important and big event for the boys as they are going to be invited
onto the pitch at half time and presented with medals by the chairman's
son Karim who is a very active member of the Fulham FC Deaf men's squad.

If you would like to be part of the team, please contact Susi Williams on 0208 336 7542, or e-mail swilliams@fulhamfc.com.
