Fulham Deaf Ladies Football Club (DLFC) wishes to appoint a new Coach to continue the team to develop their skills, fitness and experiences to play for hearing 11 aside league in Greater London South and other competitions.

Job purpose

– To coach Fulham DLFC players through whole season, and able to help them to get fitness to play 11 aside hearing league in Greater London South.

– To encourage ladies to become involved and more commitment to attend trainings.

Where

– Around in South London for trainings

Main duties / responsibilities

– To attend trainings as much as appropriate to represent supporting, knowing and coaching the team throughout the season.

– To work with the manager and players to develop and work on their skills and abilities through trainings.

– To ensure that players are fully commitment to play for Fulham DLFC.

Person Specification

– Able to have FA Level 2 (or more) Certificate in Coaching Football

– First Aid Certificate / Child protection certificate (CRB)

– Knowledge and interest in football techniques

– Great communication skills; able to use British Sign Language

– Excellent organisational and planning skills

– Experience of coaching and working with the team

– Able to offer feedback and positive criticism on players performance

– Good demonstration skills to discuss strategies, tactics and fitness exercise

– Able to monitor players performances and provide objectives and targets for them to improve their skills and abilities

– Flexibility on hours for trainings; once a week

– Confident, determined and patient
