Fulham DFC 8-3 (2-2 HT) Crescent Rovers

Fulham took on the
Crescent Rovers 3rd team in the 1st round of the Surrey FA Junior Cup at Motspur
Park. Crescent Rovers are a big club with a team in the Combined Counties League
Division One.

The match started after a one minute silence in memory of
Sarah Davies who died tragically in a road accident a week ago. All Fulham
players wore black armbands as a mark of respect.

After a tense 1st
half, the whites came out of the blocks to streamroll Crescent Rovers with a
good attacking display, with goals flying in from all directions. Goals came
from Shyloh, who continued his good goal run with two penalties, Chris Bunker,
Bim Ajadi, Ben Lampert and Mark Gill chipped in with one each, then substitute
Alex Bovino came on in the last fifteen mins to grab two well taken goals from
good moves. Ben Lampert had a good afternoon, tearing the opponents apart with
his sublime runs down the wing, and inwards, for his efforts he was awarded man
of the match. This match was dedicated to the memory of Sarah Davies, and it was
a fine game with Fulham recording their highest win of the season to date.
