The second annual Fulham Deaf v Westminster Casuals Shield is now 3
days away, the hotly contested battle for the shiny silver shield which
the Casuals have held in possession since last years 5-1 over Fulham DFC takes
place on Sunday 17th August, kicking off at 2.30pm at Motspur Park.

The Westminster Casuals success story has continued, despite finishing in 4th in the Surrey South Eastern Combination Intermediate Division Two, they have won promotion to Division One, courtesy of teams above moving up to higher leagues.

Fulham manager Ayad Sarraf will no doubt be looking forwards to welcome the new Casuals manager Joe Maughan and the Casuals to Motspur Park again. Maughan, a product of the famous Wallsend Boys Club that spawned talents such as Peter Beardsley, Alan Shearer, Michael Carrick has replaced Grant Payne who stepped down this summer. Joe can apparently down a yard of ale in 14 seconds and loves to dance.
