BBC Two’s See Hear film crew popped into The Fulham FC Training Ground at Motspur Park to interview some of the Fulham squad who had been invited to attend the Great Britain Deaf Squad Trials, for the 2009 Deaflympics in Taiwan.

Ben Lampert, Jack Harding and Daniel Hogan were all interviewed at Motspur Park, and then followed to the venue of the trials at Liverpool. Other squad members, club captain Nick Beese, Mark Gill, Jacob Willis, Jon Evans and Daniel Waller were also invited to attend the trial.

Three North v South matches were competed for the benefit of the Great Britain Management team. The South, managed by the injured Fulham captain Nick Beese soundly defeated the North!

The GB Management are hosting one last trial in Glasgow on November 8th, before the final squad for the 2009 Deaflympics is announced.

Naturally Fulham DFC hopes it will be well represented at the Deaflympics, after Ben Lampert, Ayad Sarraf, Andrew Drury and Nick Beese came back from the last Deaflympics in Melbourne with gold medals hanging round their necks!
