Fulham DFC Centre of Excellence U14’s and U17’s Trials
Fulham FC Foundation operates a Deaf Centre of Excellence on behalf of Surrey FA. The aim is to develop deaf footballers into regional and national opportunities.
Fulham FC and the Surrey County FA are recruiting players for the following teams for the 2009/2010 season.
Trial date: Wednesday 30th September
Trial times: Two times available – 12.30pm – 2.00pm OR 5.00pm – 6.30pm
Trial venue: Abbey Rangers Football Club, Addlestone Moor, Surrey, KT15 2QH
1. Deaf Centre of Excellence U14’s
U14’s operate a 4 year age banding for disability. This means that any player 10 years old after 1st Sept 2009 is eligible to play up to players aged 14 as at midnight on the 31st August 2009
2. Deaf Centre of Excellence U17’s
(U17’s operate a 3 year age banding. A player age 15 after the 1st Sept 2009 is eligible to play up to players age 17 as at midnight on the 31st August 2009.
If your child is selected through the trails they will be required to attend the Deaf Centre of Excellence once a week on a Friday evening at Raynes Park. The session focuses on developing the technical, tactical, physiological and social skills of each player.
