Fulham DFC 1-1 Shaftesbury Town

Goals (Assist)
D. Hogan (D. Waller)

Fulham DFC snatched a draw to prevent a second successive league loss. Their performance in the opening and closing stages of the match will leave them disappointed that they did not take all three points.

An aggressive and high pressure tactic almost paid off as Fulham relentlessly attacked. Opportunities to score came often enough but it was Shaftesbury who scored the opening goal with a well taken strike.

The second half saw even better opportunities go to waste as Fulham looked to test the keeper more. Lee Farrell had an excellent opportunity to equalise but it was Hogan who rescued the point for Fulham.

Fulham continued to attack in search of a win that would keep their stronghold on top of the table. While they couldn’t secure all 3 points this week, next week will be an important game for Fulham as they seek to get back into their winning ways.

The current league table looks like this:
