Fulham Deaf 5 – 5 Epsom Eagles
Sunday 26th September 2010
GLWFL Division Two South League
Fulham Deaf FC v Epsom Eagles FC
In few minutes of the 1st half, Fulham looked in a panic start as Epsom forward were pushing to attack and gave away a corner to them. They scored from the corner set-up play and unfortunately not all Fulham players were marking the opponent players.
After that, we were attacking and there were some missing chances, even they were easy to score some goals. Eventually, Foster scored from Tobin pass.
Then Epsom got another corner kick, Fulham players were marking them, but can’t beat the player with a good heading to score a goal!
Sub change: McCrea for Pert
Position change: McCrea to Midfield, Davies to forward to help Foster and to communicate with her especially with offside because there were lots of offsides mostly from Foster and Jemmott. But then eventually Jemmott scored before half time, 2-2.
In the last 15-20 minutes with Davies up front, they were improving with their passing and communication which gave us a chance to progress well for the 2nd half.
Surprisingly, Fulham players were bit half sleep as Epsom scores two goals! Then after a while, Davies scored a goal… But then Epsom scored.
So in the last 20 minutes, we were attacking and trying to score some goals. Davies and Tobin were swapping their positions, but I preferred Davies staying at upfront. Then Foster scored and time was running out…
Then Davies scored by a lob over the goalkeeper to a goal in the last minute of the match! 5-5!
What a close match! As I don’t wanna to lose even Epsom only had 8 players all the way through the whole match against full team with one sub!
Final score Fulham Deaf 5 – 5 Epsom Eagles (HT 2 – 2)
