FDFC Oktoberfest Party

On Saturday 31st October, over a hundred scary monsters and beer monsters assembled at the Oktoberfest Pub on Fulham Road.

The night was a resounding success, which would not have been possible if it wasn’t for the fantastic effort made by all to dress up for the occasion.  The beer hall was awash with sexy fraeuleins, men in the full lederhosen get up as well as the odd ghost and monster turning up to celebrate halloween.

The best cleavage competition was very tightly contested and won by Harriet Holloway, and the best six pack competition, organised by members of disgruntled members of the women’s rights movement was won by new Fulham DFC midfielder/brickhouse Remi Sellars.

Everyone at FDFC would like to thank everyone that turned up to make the night as memorable as it was.  We managed to raise £1000, which will enable us to send our squads abroad to compete against European Clubs.

We would like to thank the Oktoberfest Pub for helping make the night as special as it was, Kirsty Evans for the fantastic photos. Henry, Greg, Nick and Jon for manning the door throughout the evening, Naomi Botterill and Steff Cobb for volunteering their interpreting services for the night.  Bassim Baz for making the night possible and lastly, most importantly we thank Germany for the Oktoberfest concept.  Danke!

A selection of photos from the night can be found below.  The rest of the photos are on the FDFC Facebook Group – Click here
