Bumper Christmas Weekend for Fulham DFC

by / Wednesday, 13 December 2006 / Published in FDFC News

On Saturday, the whites face a big test against Esher United who are one place below us in third place. A win will see us jump six points clear and put pressure on league leaders Wandsworth Town who have yet to drop a point this season, while a defeat will see us start the New Year on equal points with Esher United. This is no doubt a huge test for Fulham, and one that will shape up the rest of the season.

The match will take place at Long Ditton Recreation Ground off Windmill Lane, kicking off at 2pm. For a map of the pitch – Click here

Reserves v Derby

The reserves travel to Derby, to take them on in the 2nd Round of the English Deaf Cup. Derby will no doubt be looking to avenge revenge on the club, after being dumped out of the British Deaf Cup in the first round by the first team. This will be the reserves first official deaf fixture, and they will be looking to make a mark on the English Deaf Cup.

The match will take place at the Derby Racecourse and the kick off is at 1.15pm. For a map to the pitch – Click here

Unfortunately no arrangements or entertainment will be provided after the game by Derby, as Derby have their own plans. So the reserves will try and get back to London after the game to make the drinks in Covent Garden (see below).

Christmas Drinks

On Saturday night, FDFC will celebrate Christmas at the Langley Bar, in Covent Garden from 7pm onwards, all friends, supporters of FDFC are welcome to join us. Entrance after 10pm will cost £5, and as it is the Christmas season it will get busy very quickly, so do try and get in as early as possible. To get a map of where the bar is – Click here

Player Profiles

Two more new profiles have been added – Right back Yuri Tang, who has made a big impression since his arrival in the summer with his battling displays of grit and determination & Michael 'mental' Roberts, FDFC goalkeeper and the current No.22 in the World for Deaf Golf.
