On Saturday 31st March, Fulham take on the oldest deaf football club in the World, Glagsow Deaf Athletic Football Club in the British Deaf Cup Semi Finals.

Glasgow Deaf Athletic were founded in 1871, making them older than famous clubs such as Rangers FC (1873), Celtic (1881) and Manchester United (1878).

Glagsow are one of the few clubs Fulham have yet to pay in its short history and it is a match we very much look forwards to. The match will be played at the neutral venue of Doncaster College for the Deaf.

St John Arsenal DFC face Doncaster College DFC in the other semi final. The plate semi finals take place at 12pm with the main semi finals involving us kicking off at 3pm.

There is a disco at the Doncaster College Sports hall, on the same evening with doors opening at 7.30pm. Tickets cost 5 and can be purchased from Martin Lewis on bdfc_co_ordinator@yahoo.co.uk or from Marcella Stratton on bellabella1977@hotmail.com
