2014- 2015 End of Season Awards
Of course, a season isn’t a season when there are awards to dole out at the end of the season!
Most Improved Player – Daniel Rumney
Proof that you can improve whatever age you are! Daniel has proved formidable as centre back being the calm in Defence not making any rash decisions as the season went by. All this shows that he is the reliable centre back that Fulham needs.
Golden Boot – Jacob Willis & Lee Farrell
Not one but two players winning the Golden Boots for scoring the highest number of goals. As if that needed explaining!
Goal of the Season – Philip Swift
A team effort with a fine finish from Philip against Derby on 22nd February. The move started from Kenward outside our own penalty box, a one-two pass with Waller in the middle beating a player, Kenward picked up the ball and laid it in the path for Willis to make his dashing run. As Willis ran further down the side of the pitch, he threw a cross across the pitch which Collard gathered the ball and fed to Philip. Philip lathered a shot outside of the box on the right which no one on the pitch could believe how fast it went and startled the goalkeeper’s eyes rumbling the back of the net!
Clubman of the Year – Andrew Kenward
Dedication and commitment in attending to both training and matches week in week out over the past season. The manager just knows that he will be there regardless. Not only that but for his behind the work scenes at Fulham Deaf.
Player’s Player of the Year – Andrew Kenward
A players vote of FDFC Player of the Year. (Thanks guys!)
Player of the Year – Lee Farrell
Manager’s Choice – He was the difference in our side when it came to matches and scored vital goals that was the difference between winning and losing.
